Gerlinde Keating's passion for photography began early in life . She was twelve years old when she received her first camera and realized that the camera was a powerful story telling tool.

Her photographs show that natural beauty can be discovered anywhere the eyes travel. 

GK's innovative style often pushes the limits of conventional photography. She embraces every technique that will aid in achieving her vision. Her extraordinary fusion of line and color creates 
illusions that stimulate the imaginative soul in all of us.

Her unique artistic images are a combination of traditional photography, digital technology and a reflection of her interest in modern art.

Over the years Gerlinde Keating has won several awards in international photo competitions which all were juried by top international decision makers in the art and photography industry.

 At the international photo competition Prix de la Photographie, Paris, France she was awarded Third Prize in the Fine Art Category for her picture "Leaves".

At the 4th Annual Photography Masters Cup Competition Gerlinde Keating won the Nominee title in the Wildlife Category. "The Masters Cup celebrates photographers who operate at the highest levels of their craft", said Basil O'Brien, the awards creative director. "Gerlinde Keating's work represents contemporary color photography at its finest."

Her artwork and photography have been published in "International Contemporary Masters" VOL VI & VII by World Wide Art Books, Inc.

2013 Gerlinde Keating was selected from over 6800 artist applicants worldwide to be included in "Important World Artists - The World of Art" published by WWAB, Inc. in California, USA. 845 artists had been selected.
